I haven't seen anything used other than size 3 tamperproof hex screws. Some security bit sets have it, the bit's usually just *barely* long enough for a driver to grab onto it.

This is pure speculation, but the new Bird One scooters look like modified MAX scooters, so hopefully parts and flashing tools will eventually pop up. I know for sure that the new Lyft scooters coming out soon are MAX-based.

I believe the normal algorithm is speed-based (imagine altering the set speed on a car’s cruise control) and the alt algorithm is power-based (imagine changing how much you press the gas pedal).
