Re: Change Max serial number after DRV126 update
Hi Guys. I have a G30D, which is updated to 1.2.6. Unfortunately, I can not change the serial number, so I can play the CFW. I have an ESx dashboard with original firmware, which I used before to flash the scooter on US. Before I updated the scooter to 1.2.6, I flashed the German serial number back...

Re: What size tamper proof Allen wrench for external battery?
I haven't seen anything used other than size 3 tamperproof hex screws. Some security bit sets have it, the bit's usually just *barely* long enough for a driver to grab onto it.

Re: Ninebot MAX custom Firmware
This is pure speculation, but the new Bird One scooters look like modified MAX scooters, so hopefully parts and flashing tools will eventually pop up. I know for sure that the new Lyft scooters coming out soon are MAX-based.

Re: Are all Bird ES4s error 10 on dash replacement?
The most recent wave of bird ES4’s (with battery cages) I believe all give error 10. I’m sorry you’re having trouble with soldering, it definitely is tough to do such small operations. But, unfortunately it’s necessary if you want to get rid of the error without replacing the control board :( you co...

Re: Alternative throttle algorithm
I believe the normal algorithm is speed-based (imagine altering the set speed on a car’s cruise control) and the alt algorithm is power-based (imagine changing how much you press the gas pedal).

Re: ES4 Error 10

I have two brand new bird ES4s. I cannot for the live of me get the damn wires to stick to the control board. any sugge...

Re: ES4 Error 10
I'd like to add that I have flashed two ESCs with ST-Utility and full dump. The scooter works as intended, however disco lighting has stopped working as mentioned above. The method I used: Connect ST-Link to ESC In STUtility press control B and disable readout protection Open full bin Press CTRL+P ...

Re: ES4 Error 10
The schematic you found is indeed correct and it's the same one I use ;) There's nothing special to know, just solder and flash. TVCC is indeed 3.3V. As for the flashing part, fulldump refers to a fulldump file of the DRV (bootloader + firmware + user settings), and you can flash it with OpenOCD or...
