You can use flux if you have not been.
Another option is solder to pins and then hold those in place since the entire flashing operation only takes about a minute.

Not sure if this is related to flashing the mainboard or If it is caused by my batteries being messed up. since I got this I have not been able to charge which I assumed was part of the error 10 issue. after flashing the mainboard I now have 19 and still can not change. any trouble shooting advice w...

Everything seemed to go ok. it was certainly hard to solder to that board!
I now have an error 19
I am not sure if it is related to this as the batteries have not been properly charging since I got it. when I plug It in it goes green then red like its charging and then back to green.
