Re: ES4 Error 10
Flash ESC with fulldump using an ST Link. Do some research, and you'll find the method :) Would you be able to elaborate on where to find this info? I've been searching but haven't found anything of use other than this wiring diagram: https://imgur.com/a/heG6ETh showing where to solder each pin. Is...

Re: Headlight power issue
What's worked for me is soldering a 10 ohm resistor in line with the white wire on the headlight cable that connects to the dashboard. It makes the light a bit dimmer of course, but it totally fixes the issue for me. I'm only doing it on ES4 models though, so not sure what resistance you'd use for a...

Re: Power differences between ES4/SNSC control boards
I recently got a hold of an SNSC 1.0 model, and now I see what you're talking about. Even with the external battery, it definitely feels less powerful than my ES4 with identical custom firmware. I wonder what's different on the control board that causes this... I think I'll make a new firmware with ...

Re: How to flash your Ninebot Scooter
Goodnight friend. You can send photos of what you have and if you can send the link of what you bought, to know what we are talking about. Here’s a link to a picture of the dash: https://imgur.com/a/CPAATyy It sounds different when beeping than an oem dash, and the LEDs are a different shade of blu...

Re: How to flash your Ninebot Scooter
Would this work to reflash a knockoff dash to behave like a stock dash? I was shipped a knockoff (the kind that displays both kmh and mph and doesn’t show the speed mode/charge percentage) and I want to try this out, but at the same time I don’t want to brick it as I’m not sure how different the har...

Re: Power differences between ES4/SNSC control boards
I’m not sure, but I think SNSC 1.1 uses the lower power 250W ES1 motor. Would this possibly explain the power difference?
Also while I’m here I might as well ask, what’s the difference between the ES and SNSC models in the first place? I’ve only come across ES models so I wouldn’t know.

Re: Custom Firmware Disables Bottom Lights
Yep, this is what I had to do. You should just have to change the 4th character to a “T” and the lights should show back up in the app.Nope. I think I need to change the SN to get the lights to work again.

Re: Motor not functioning properly?
Well, I figured it out. Some of the MOSFET traces on the controller had burnt away, making it so the motor couldn’t be controlled properly. I have no idea when this could have happened though. I’ll probably leave this post up just in case someone else has this issue and googles it.

Motor not functioning properly?
Hi all, I've got a converted Bird ES4 (external battery temporarily removed, and dashboard swapped only, still Bird controller) that I'm having issues with. I've tried every possible combination of firmware, and I've even changed the serial number to a T instead of an E to get mode switching and lig...
