Re: Ninebot IAP guide - how to flash your scooter with a cable

My friend has the same problem using a OEM dash, so we have concluded that the problem must be that the wires are incorrectly soldered to the UART interface, right? If that is not the problem, then what is? The pic with the white background has the WRONG wiring (Ninebot's fault), u have to swap the...

Re: Ninebot IAP guide - how to flash your scooter with a cable

F0xMaster, Thank you for all your help. I was able to connect the bms port to a spin Max via this wiring; Red = GND, White = RX, Yellow = TX. Re: Ninebot IAP guide - how to flash your scooter with a cable

HI, So just to be clear. I can theoretically use option 2 on a Lyft SNSC1/2 but still have to rewire the dash cable correct? I have have been digging around for info on this but everyone is focused on the MAX these days. Yes, IAP will work. And yes, you still have to rewire the dash because the IoT...

Re: how to unbrick Ninebot G30 D

The easiest way would be to ST-Link the controller, here's a guide:

the pinout should be the same regardless of scooter version.

Re: BMS UART protocol?

If you can connect to the battery using a serial to USB adapter and want to see more details, you can use IAP versions 2.2.1 and higher coz they have this functionality (battery tab).

Re: Ninebot IAP guide - how to flash your scooter with a cable

Any idea if this would work on the Max?
It should work if you have a rental Max or if you use the intermal BMS connector. Please note that some rental companies lock IAP mode. I also don't have a rental max on hand for testing, but other users reported success.
