Low volt cutout

Postby Dot_rod Mon Feb 27, 2023 5:08 am

Hi. I have a standard g30 max running on your custom firmware and have a question re low cutout volt.

On standard ninebot firmware my scoot gets 30km in sport mode at 30km/hr.
I have had this crawling along with a flat battery at 10km/hr.

I use the drv126 as I like the ao readout and the 154 does not seem to work. With this I get up to 35km/hr but the range drops, it actually cut out on me so I had to hoof it. At that cutout I was still doing 28km/hr... Suggesting there is more in the tank.
Once on charge it read around 35v from memory.

I have tried the 36/48v option in firmware but it does not seem to make any difference. Please correct me if I'm wrong here.

So question is do you know of the dropout voltages for the 3 firmware (factory, 126,154).

Is it possible to have that parameter adjustable in the firmware you offer?

I'm quite happy to push the battery limits when needed and having that extra range means not getting stranded even if it potentially damages the batty.

Thanks.

I have no idea, but my friend may know the answer. I'll share this post with him tiny fishing

Cheers, would be appreciated. I could try all the above options but Ideally whoever coded the new firmware could chime in.

Like the DRV126, the DRV154 firmware can also alter the low voltage cutout. The ability to adjust this parameter may depend on the firmware settings.mapquest
