Cant connect to Ninebot Flash

I have a generation 2 G30 Max and using scooter hacking I have downloaded firmware to install. That was no problem.

However when I open the Ninebot flash app on my laptop and click search I get my scooter appear and if I do not click on it immediately it disappears. If I do DOUBLE click on it immediately, it stays put and when I tap connect nothing happens, even if bluetooth is showing on the dash of the scooter.

Dont know what to try next as for some reason my scooter is nt staying on screen once found and then when made to stay on screen it wont connect.
