CFW on latest G30 max LE

Hello,
recently I bought a ne G30 LE but as I am using it in rural areas the speedlimit of 25km/h hits me hard. Have you tried to flash the latest version as well? I have read some post that flashing custom firmware does not work on the latest models and I dont want to brick it.
If it does, what would be the expected maximum speed (with a gen2 motor)?
