Flashing Failed (Update Failed) error using SHMAX preset firmware

Updated to golden/magic s/n
Trying to flash using SHMAX preset firmware
Getting error Flashing Failed, Update failed! Reason: Data Format Error, powercycle your phone and scooter may help
I have powercycled both multiple times, I cant get passed this error trying to select the firmware made online and copied to my device of from the device and flashing to loading directly.
Previously had:
BLE: 1.1.7
DRV: 1.8.3
BMS: 1.5.8
Changed to:
BLE: 1.1.4
DRV: 1.8.3
BMS: 1.5.6
Appreciate any help here, I am unable to drop the DRV it gives same error.

I have the same problem.we have the newest firmware that can't be flash till someone figure it out how

I have the same problem, getting the same error 'Data format error'

Wow. Even with all of your suggestions, I spent hours trying to figure out why my flash wasn't working. It turns out that in SHUT, the dialog box must be closed before the compatibility flash starts. I appreciate your post because it enabled me to free my Ninebot Max, and as a result, cfw is now operational.

Where can i find the dialog box in SHUT.
Can you please explain in details, i've been searching everywhere.
