Hey guys, I am trying to update firmware for a mates scooter. He has a NineBot MAX which he has just installed the MyMaxMods 48v internal battery kit and had to replace the ESC with a NineBot MAX Generation 2 one (due to old one being fried).
Now i am stuck trying to update the firmware, i have used both SHU and IAP to update. I have tried to use the recommended firmware from MyMaxMods and nothing seems to work. I keep getting the data format error when using SHU and update failed when using IAP. The current firmware on the scooter that SHU reads out is as follows; BLE 1.1.3, DRV 1.8.4 and BMS 0.0.0.
Is this something i will have to hard flash with ST-Link?
Any help will be appreciated, cheers.
Firmware issue with 48v battery

DRV184 can only be flashed via ST-Link.

Hey F0xMaster,DRV184 can only be flashed via ST-Link.
I really hate that I have to ask (the frustration from searching causes me intense rage), but can I trouble you for the pin out on flashing this newer ESC? The G30LD ?

You cannot use ST-Link for hard flashing. The DRV184 requires ST-Link in order to be flashed.
