A buddy and I both recently purchased the Ninebot D40s and love them, but want a bit more out of them, without modifying the hardware. We found them lacking in acceleration, top speed, and breaking. looking at this sites toolkit is very promising but I see no indication of what scooters are supported.

Is the D series supported by the kit?
If not does anyone know of a kit that does support the D series?

Please any help is much appreciated.

Id really appreciate any feed back from someone who has tried a firmware update on a D-series, before I pull the trigger on my own.

Or at least confirmation that it does indeed support the D-series but mileage may vary.

Currently, SHFW works properly D18, D28, D38
Some people didn't have the D40 version. But it seems that the parameters correspond to D38
