Bug error for scooterhackin utility download

Hi I'm trying to follow instructions in a thread to unlock speed in ninebot f25e. It says to download the utility software. I've downloaded from Playstore and as an apk. Both cannot connect to the scooter and return a bug error. Any help?
When I press on the scooter pic which it detected via Bluetooth it says there is a bug in the program.
I want to upgrade the speed for Segway Ninebot F25e thanks
