Spin scooter s-100t convert to personal use

Hi group,
Purchased three new SPIN scooters and battery/charger from auction in Salinas California.
I’ve been able to charge and ride it but not sure how to open the battery deck?
Would also like to eventually hack to go faster.
Eventually going to paint or vinyl wrap.

If anyone has any tips or tricks would appreciate it!
