Error code 21

I know that this means that the BMS is not connected to the motor controller.
I would like to know if there is any way to bypass the firmware checking for BMS, as i would like to be able to use the Ninebot dashboard/motor controller on another scooter (OLD first gen. lime).

Any thought/input is appreciated.
