Hello to everyone!
I have bought ninebot E22D few days ago.
I would like to unlock the maximum speed on it. After connecting and activation it upgrades to DRV 2.6.15
I read the topic and answers. As i understand, i should to downgrade the firmware before i can change SN or change region.
I have found this link with edited firwares https://files.scooterhacking.org/firmware/e-series/DRV/
there I found that latest firmware is DRV271 - but it is higher than the latest on my scooter. That's why I thought that this firmware is for E25 or E45? Am i right?
I dosn't have android devicе - only windows laptop. So i don't want to make a mistake and flash first DRV271 from the link above and after downgrade to lower version.
Does anyone have a solution or advice on how to do it right?
You have to use an ST-Link to downgrade to DRV255, which means soldering wires to your control board. We don't have an ETA on when a wireless downgrade method might become available.
PLESE HELP ME !!!!
I have an E22E with external battery . FW DRV 2.7.5 , BLE 2.1.3 , BMS 1.6.0 . All was ok until i "decided" to change the serial number . For a mistake i changed serial number from N2GZ.... to N2GY.... .
NOw the scooter is recognized as a E25D ( 20km/h) from scooterhacking utility and as unknow model from other softwares ....
NOW I am unable to re-change the SN back to N2GZ.... and if i try to downgrade DRV firmware i receive update error !!!

Someone could help me ??
Thanks in advance ...
That's what happens when you use a D serial number on some of the newer software versions. Unfortunately, the only solution at the moment is to use an ST-Link.

Thanks for the answer. I would like not to solder my board and wait - maybe a new method will come. Hope it happens soon!

Same Problem . The only solutions at the moment are downgrade using ST-Link or wait for a new update of SHU App that unlock the downgrade from last Firmware version .

Anyone help :) I think i tried all methods and still has maximum 20km speed. I have E45D in Europe distribution (Poland). Canot change serial number. When i am trying to change serial number there is just 3 beeps x twice and nothing changed.
BLE 2.0.9
DRV 2.7.5
BMS 1.6.0
EBMS 1.6.0

After an attempt to downgrade to DRV255 there is information "Flashing Failed - Reason: Data format error"

You have to use an ST-Link. There is no other solution at the moment.

Hi, I bought an E22D with maximum speed 20 km/h. I would like to unlock to 25 km/h at least. I know an St link is needed (I finally bought the wire, not received all parts yet... ). What firmware do you advise me to install. I'd like to have maximum speed but don't want to damage the scoot.
Last question, is E22D same as E22E juste with lower speed (different firmware?)? That mean if I put the E22E firmware and external battery, will it work to 28 km/h? Thanks, JP

Hello, i have the same problem.
I have a E22E accidentaly i have changed region and the new serial of my electric scooter is N2GRA and it is recognized as a E45D. I lost the cruise control and the blink of thr brake light.
I open the ninebot app and I have 3 scooters models in my profile.
My actual version in the official app 'Segway-ninebot' is:
BMS: 1.6.0
BLE: 2.1.3
DRV: 2.6.15

In scooter Hacking tool i read:
BMS: 1.6.0
BLE: 2.1.3
DRV: 2.7.5

I tried to change the code or downgrade but, no one method works, always error.
How i can do? I have st-link but how i can use st-link programmer and which firmware i have to use?
