Hello. I own an E22 segway scooter and realize that there is no custom firmware available yet. Recently segway pushed 2.5 firmware update through their app and I updated my scooter thinking it would help battery life or whatever, but after updating it actually messed up my scooter. I should mention that I have the external battery upgrade which has been great until the latest firmware update. With the latest update, while i'm out riding cruising at max speed every so often i feel a kick back/bog down and loss of power/acceleration. it just feels soggy and will hardly accelerate when this happens. If I pull over and power the scooter off and back on again, it'll ride like normal until it happens again.

With all that said, hopefully segway fixes it soon, but until then is it possible to downgrade my firmware version? I'd like to revert to the version before the latest update because my scooter was working fine before the latest update. I've been googling nonstop and can't find anything about downloading official firmware versions and manually flashing a specific one i want to my segway E22 scooter. I just want to downgrade so i can ride my scooter again. Thank you

I am having a similar issue. Acceleration is horrible and even small hills seem to be a challenge. Any help is appreciated.

Also should mention, this was immediately after the 2.5.0 update.

I actually took a ride to the store, after leaving and going to unlock I was prompted for the update when going to unlock my scooter. It was a noticeably poor ride home.

Same issue here, but with my E45(D) and v2.5.0. It doesn't matter if I drive it in it's original state or faster with another S/N.

It suddenly breaks down to 9-10 km/h (about 5.6mph) and won't accelerate faster than that anymore.
Had it in many situations. Going downhill, going uphill and even on straight grounds...
Restarting the scooter always helped.

It doesn't show any error codes.

But it's kind of dangerous, especially with lot of traffic around. Hope they will fix it asap.

Xiaoflasher added a way to downgrade back to 2.3.9 in their app. 2.5.0 is broken and segway confirmed via email that they plan to upgrade it to 2.5.2 soon but it might be a few more weeks. If you are like me and find 2.5 dangerous especially in high traffic areas, downgrade using xiaoflasher.

after you downgrade you can't use the official segway app for now. it'll update you again back to 2.5 which is broken.

Here we are in mid-December without an update. Has anyone heard anything new ?
