BLE 5.0.4

Hello, I have been reading a few days on how to flash a custom firmware on my ES4. I have not had any luck, I am hearing that I need to replace the dash because I have the LE 5.0.4, other say it should work fine. Any insight or step-by-step help would be greatly appreciated!
