My battery is getting old and isn't keeping a charge, but I noticed that new battery's are quite expensive and I was wondering if there is a 3rd party battery that are cheaper

I don't think buying back old or unknown batteries won't work. It is better to try using a new battery. (Personal opinion).

I think if you buy it, you should find a genuine distributor to avoid buying fakes, then it will take more time for you.
