M365 Pro street legal but with power?

Postby klh Tue Sep 17, 2019 1:19 pm

Hello guys,
My question might sound a little bit odd. But do you guys know of a way to make the M365 Pro more powerful - WITHOUT having to set a higher top speed? I would like to make the power usable and still set a max top speed of 20 km/h (which is the legal limit here in my country).
When I limit the top speed - the scooter also becomes quite lame when going up hill. The speed will fall to around 16-18 km/h. With a higher top speed setting - the scooter will easily do the same climbs with 20-22 km/h!?
Somehow it seems that the true speed has to be a number of km/h lower than the desired top speed before the scooter "opens the throttle" fully.
As stated I'm running the M365 Pro.
My current firmware numbers:
BLE 090
BMS 116
DRV 155 (cfw) - I have also tried the same settings in the 160 (cfw).

I wouldn't mind too much about this. Limited mine to 20km/h max to be compliant in Switzerland. Heaving read about overheaten M365 Pro controllers I'm fine with it. The guys at Rollerplausch adviced to even lower the curent settings for sports mode to save the components. I'd say better driving 16-18km/h uphills than pushing a blown Scooter :)
