Can I use SHU only to connect to my scooter to see firmware info?

The answer is of course yes, but I mean without make any changes?
I have two of the same scooters, but one is badly flashed and the other is untouched. Can I connect to the untouched scooter with SHU-app only to see all firmware info, and will Xiaomi Home app still recognize the scooter after?
