- is the Xiaomi MI Essential supported by the ScooterHacking Utility app and is it possible to unlock the 20km/h speed limit?
- I've seen references to Xiaomi MI basic: is this the same as Xiaomi MI Essential?

Maybe this has been asked many times but I couldn't find the answer to my questions:
Re: Xiaomi MI Essential and ScooterHacking Utility
It's possible to change the "region" (serial number) via SHU. This will give you about 25 kph. You can also use the pro2 generator (https://pro2.cfw.sh/) to get CFW. This will drain your battery pretty hard though.

Re: Xiaomi MI Essential and ScooterHacking Utility

Re: Xiaomi MI Essential and ScooterHacking Utility
First of all, thank you for your answer.
Any idea which part of the serial matches the region code and which number should I set to get a region with 25 Km/h?
Ok. I've installed SHU and paired the scooter, which is is ideintified as:It's possible to change the "region" (serial number) via SHU. This will give you about 25 kph.
- Name: MIScooterDDDD (ends with 4 digits)
- Model: Xiaomi Essential/Lite
- BLE: 1.3.2
- DRV: 2.2.8
- BMS: 1.2.8
- Serial number: NNNNN/NNNNDDDD (5 digits / 8 digits, last 4 are the same as in name)
- ESC region: Unknown
- Error code: none
Any idea which part of the serial matches the region code and which number should I set to get a region with 25 Km/h?
Would this solution drain the battery even if I set just 25 km/h?You can also use the pro2 generator (https://pro2.cfw.sh/) to get CFW. This will drain your battery pretty hard though.
Re: Xiaomi MI Essential and ScooterHacking Utility
Hello!
I have also a 25702 Xiaomi Scooter (Mi Electric Scooter Lite/Essential) and i am interested in tuning this item.
I'm afraid with the default settings of the generator we would "kill" our device.
From another site i got the default settings for different Scooters, but also for Essential:
m365 1S ECO:7A DRIVE:15A SPORT:20A
m365 Essential/Lite ECO:7A DRIVE:12A SPORT:12A
m365 PRO2 ECO:7A DRIVE:17A SPORT:25A
So the max. ampere setting for Essential/Lite is 12A in Stock.
But maybe i mix Battery Current and Phase Current in this case ...
Are the some "gold standard" settings for the generator, for Essential/Lite without frying the components?
Thank you very much for your help!

Re: Xiaomi MI Essential and ScooterHacking Utility
I see from the wiki page (https://wiki.scooterhacking.org/doku.php?id=mi365) that the first 5 digits befeore the slash in serial number are the model number.
My model number is 27268 which is not present in that page. Googling around I've found this manual page: https://manualmachine.com/xiaomi/essent ... er-manual/.
It says that my model is a "french" version (quite possible since I live in Italy) and that 25702 should be the "Global" version.
However in the wiki page I read that 25702 is actually the "german" version while the global version shoud be 25600.
Could setting 25600 instead of 27268 change the region and let me reach 25 km/h?
