Mi pro 2 ST link downgrade

Hi all,
I have a mi pro 2 on the latest firmwares DRV 248, BMS 141, BLE 157 and I want to downgrade using a St link. I have done some research and have seen people saying that you have to cut the c2 trace when doing this? Also I saw some people saying that the downgrade will only work on a v3.0 controller otherwise you will brick the scooter?
Can someone help me and clear up these two questions I have please.
