Downgrade issues from high DRV version

Postby Lothean Sun Apr 14, 2019 8:17 pm

Hi,

Recently, an issue with downgrades from Chinese boards appeared.
It would seem that some scooters with a high DRV version, usually 2.x, can't be downgraded back to OFW.

If it happened to you, could you please write down what happened, what did you try, which model of scooter you have and which DRV version was on it? And more importantly, did you succeed in the end ?

Thanks to all of the people who can give information, it might help in finding a solution ;)

Hello,
If you get that famous error 7 because of ESMax, connect to your scooter using ES Rollback and select Main controller and 1.3.3
Click on next and generate the bin file
that "recovery.bin" can then be flashed to the main board using ST Link and will unbrick your scooter

Return to “Ninebot ES and E-series”
