Re: Headlight power issue
What's worked for me is soldering a 10 ohm resistor in line with the white wire on the headlight cable that connects to the dashboard. It makes the light a bit dimmer of course, but it totally fixes the issue for me. I'm only doing it on ES4 models though, so not sure what resistance you'd use for an ES2. I've heard people having success with a 33 ohm resistor.
Re: Headlight power issue
I have seen the one were they talk about using a resistor then i seen one were a guy bridge the resistor and nother one replaced the resistor

Re: Headlight power issue
Same issue here. I don't think it's temperature or power related, as it happened right away for me this morning.
Re: Headlight power issue
Segway emailed me and said to try the latest firmware. Just put a CFW 1.5.1 on, will test tonight.

Re: Headlight power issue
It didn't help. However, I flashed CFW 1.5.1 with Current-based throttle algorithm, and that seems to improve the situation. I can now go faster, but it does feel like acceleration is hampered with the headlight on, but it doesn't just completely cut out at half speed, it can still climb to pretty high speeds. I didn't test it extensively though. When I told Segway about the issue not being fixed with 1.5.1, they asked me to mail it in, but that's just too much hassle.Well what happened?

Re: Headlight power issue
it is enough to unsolder 1 jumpers on the controller board located next to the power cable control panel from the left I attach a photo after unlocking it all problems such as falling speed
