Headlight power issue

So I know this has happen to alot of people with the headlight when you trun it on I lose power now I have seen way to fix it but what is the best way to fix this issue

What's worked for me is soldering a 10 ohm resistor in line with the white wire on the headlight cable that connects to the dashboard. It makes the light a bit dimmer of course, but it totally fixes the issue for me. I'm only doing it on ES4 models though, so not sure what resistance you'd use for an ES2. I've heard people having success with a 33 ohm resistor.

I have seen the one were they talk about using a resistor then i seen one were a guy bridge the resistor and nother one replaced the resistor

HEllo , i have this problem with my 2 scooters ES4, first i saw the problem and think , i get one broken, but yesterday i was riding another scooter and was fine , and sondely when i was riding on a street that whas clibing at top speed , the second scooter just came with this problem , seems to me that something was broken when the scooter reachs some temprature when it makes a lot of efford

is this problem recognized ? where can i get more information ?

Same issue here. I don't think it's temperature or power related, as it happened right away for me this morning.

Segway emailed me and said to try the latest firmware. Just put a CFW 1.5.1 on, will test tonight.

Segway emailed me and said to try the latest firmware. Just put a CFW 1.5.1 on, will test tonight.

Segway emailed me and said to try the latest firmware. Just put a CFW 1.5.1 on, will test tonight.
It didn't help. However, I flashed CFW 1.5.1 with Current-based throttle algorithm, and that seems to improve the situation. I can now go faster, but it does feel like acceleration is hampered with the headlight on, but it doesn't just completely cut out at half speed, it can still climb to pretty high speeds. I didn't test it extensively though. When I told Segway about the issue not being fixed with 1.5.1, they asked me to mail it in, but that's just too much hassle.

it is enough to unsolder 1 jumpers on the controller board located next to the power cable control panel from the left I attach a photo after unlocking it all problems such as falling speed

Hola necesito solucionar el problema de las luces, me hacen bajar v la velocidad, mi WhatsApp es 0054911 33735941 soy de argentina..
Si alguien sabe una solución lo agradecería!!!
